So I have to be honest. I failed. I tried so hard to get a beer representing all the colours of the pride rainbow. I managed five out of six, but I just couldn’t find a blue beer. I managed to track down 3 blue beers, but two were in America and one was in Japan and they were just impossible to get hold of. I could have taken a very light coloured lager and put some blue food colouring in there but it just seemed like a bit of a cop-out. I instead decided to take in my first ever wine into the Umeå Beer Club.
Aviva was blue and had edible glitter inside it. When swirled it created this glitter hurricane in everyone’s glass. Did it look cool? absolutely! Did it taste good? Oh hell no. Well, actually it didn’t particularly taste bad, it’s that it just didn’t really taste of anything except being sweet. I’m not going to spend much time writing about this as it jut wasn’t very noteworthy.
I’m glad I managed to find something blue, and you don’t really get anything more fabulous than edible glitter, but this was more for fun than anything else. Maybe this would be ok if would wanted to try something different, but for the price this would be quite hard to recommend going out and buying a bottle. Nah. Fun but nah. Let’s move on shall we?
