This chocolate liqueur is made Jenny who is the mastermind behind Nordic Chocolate, the local chocolate factory that has supplied all the chocolate for the tasting. It is made using the cocoa nibs that are left over from the chocolate making process and has been on the market for a couple of years. As Jenny was present at the tasting to talk about her chocolate it seemed the perfect occasion to have this in the tasting, and I’m glad we did because it was extremely tasty!

It had a similar body and consistency to Baileys, but with a much darker chocolate brown hue. The taste was as expected, with a creamy, rich milk chocolate hit that coated the whole palate. The cacao note lasted for a long time on the palate and left it smooth and a little sticky.

This was a great liqueur, and I think they’ve done a great job with it. A great end to a meal!
