Spirit of Sweden is a Swedish beverage brand launched in 2022 and owned by Herrljunga, which is based in Västra Götaland. It produces a wide range of drinks and handles roughly fifteen million litres of beverages annually. All its drinks are produced in Sweden at the Herrljunga facility, which has been operated by several generations of the Branmark family. This is the first time that an alcoholic Julmust has been released at Systembolaget, so of course I had to have it in the Christmas tasting!

I’m not going to spend too much time reviewing this one as I bought it into the tasting more for being fun then complex. The aroma and taste were rather similar, with cinnamon, coca cola, cloves, and orange notes all found in the taste. The alcohol wasn’t noticeable at all so could be very dangerous to have a few of these as it made it very easy to drink. It wasn’t the best Julmust I’ve ever had but I still enjoyed it and I could see how this could be nice to enjoy around the Christmas table.
